"The hotel was perfect for our short stay in Kyoto. Down the street from Nishki Market and very walkable to other bars and restaurants in the area. Very quiet at night. Hotel was clean and even came with a croissant service in the morning! We had a king bed and it was very comfortable. Highly recommend. "

"We stayed in a few hotels during our stay in Tokyo and Kyoto and this one was our favourite. Super modern with fantastic service and facilities. Spacious room with all the mod cons, beautiful amenities, treats, big bath & shower etc. Lemon cake and welcome drink on arrival. Fruit juices, water, soda water in fridge replenished each day. Drip coffee was cool - even loved the kettle! Big comfy bed, lounge area. Two choices of slippers - usual white ones and some japanese. Even had a dyson...

"Staff was amazing and more than accommodating. Style and vibes were so different than a normal hotel in such a great way (brutalist architecture paired with amazing design/art). Hotel is at the very beginning of the walkable Main Street of shops which leads to Gion district. Also super close to Nishiki market. Cannot recommend more!"
