Hotel located in quite place but we could walk to everywhere, also the railways station that not far from hotel, then you can use the train to transfer to the tourist attractions that so convenient. Front desk always greeting us with warm welcome and smile. They really take care all deatils of the guest. So appreciated and for sure we would love to stay here again. "This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. "Instructions unclear about accessing property. We took a cab from kyoto station to the property where we had no access to enter. Apparently you need to go to an office near kyoto station before you are allowed into the property. Once there the staff did coordinate travel to the property. The property location was nice with many restaurants and shops with a 15-20 minute walk. Property was very nice with clothes washer and a way to dry the clothes as well as Instructions for how everything worked...
