This is a wonderful boutique hotel on a quiet street in Kyoto. It is a great place to stay to feel less like a tourist since the crowds are far away. Plenty of small restaurants and bars nearby and a bakery that is very popular (and good) nearby. The staff were very helpful and attentive. You can walk to transportation in 5-10 minutes.

A beautiful space that is so quiet and serene you feel like you're the only people staying in the hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious with lots of goodies. We loved our stay.

Our accommodations were spacious and very clean. The service was exceptional. The location was nice; in close proximity to train stations, shopping, and dining. We opted for daily breakfast, which was delivered to our room and was quite delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very very nice and small hotel. The service is excellent. So so kind people always welcoming you. As the hotel is small, the breakfast is served in your room, and it was the best brekfast we have had in a 3 weeks travel. Location is perfect, we would highly recommend this hotel.

It felt like a luxurious home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, the jetted tub was nice after a long day of walking. The staff were so wonderful to us. We felt relaxed and would absolutely stay here again.

Small 12 room hotel located in a nice quiet area but still close and walkable to many of the touristy areas. Beautiful room and the shower/bath was truly a spa like experience. Bed was very nice as well. Get the Japanese breakfast served in your room at least once. It was a memorable meal.

Beautiful little hotel was a real find. Well located for many of the sites in Kyoto but on a peaceful, quiet street. The room was much larger in comparison with similar priced hotels we stayed at in Tokyo. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge shower room, jacuzzi bath, separate toilet and washbasins. Beautiful property with a grand feel. The staff were gracious. Lovely large room with beautiful furnishings and decor. The gardens were lovely to walk through and loved the lounge where you could get a cocktail. Also fabulous onson with occitane products.
