"This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a great experience in Kyoto. "

The location too couldn’t be any better. "The whole place is spacious, peaceful and beautiful! Japanese style room equipped with complimentary drinks and snacks as well as nice pajamas and slippers to use during stay. Hotel located in quite place but we could walk to everywhere, also the railways station that not far from hotel, then you can use the train to transfer to the tourist attractions that so convenient. "We were here as 2 friends travelling together. POSITIVES: The room was a great size (compared to some Japanese hotels) with good, customisable lighting (some hotels have had very low lighting in comparison). Had 2 variety of pillows, one with an Interesting neck support thing inbuilt, which I loved. Great location, 500m walk to nishiki markets for food .
