Clean room, good amenities, healthy options for breakfast, location is convenient, walkable, safe. The staff, we haven’t met anyone in person though communication was good, sent us a message prior to our arrival regarding check-in time and she replies to our queries immediately, if we need assistance.

Great communication! My bag didn’t make it on our flight from London and came on the next plane which meant a trip back to get it a few hours later. They were very helpful with arranging rides and helping with taxi service. Also the location for seeing the Vatican and good food options is great!

Perfect spot if you're going to visit the Vatican.

We stayed there for two nights we did the Vatican tour so is perfect location from the Vatican just a 3 minute walk. Parking was paid parking but it was close and inexpensive. There were plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance. Transit system was also close by.

Property was nice, cute, clean and good location, right next to Vatican museum entrance. Nice continental breakfast, coffee machine etc. Little problem whan leaving in the morning as the entrance gate was locked and we couldn't get out...luckily my husband had the forethought to bring the keys with us to unlock the gate and then return all the keys to our room. A minor glitch but otherwise it was good. Would recommend!

We flew into Rome and stayed just one night so that we could go to the Vatican first thing the next morning. It was fantastic to wake up so close to the Vatican after a long day of travel. Our room was clean, quiet, and convenient. I was a bit confused about some of our communication, and the folks at Vaticano84 were quite gracious about it. I can definitely recommend this for a quick and easy stayover!

This property is just outside the Vatican wall… just a few blocks walk to the main entrance … two or three blocks from the Vatican museum entrance. There are restaurants and convenience stores near by. The hotel provides great nick backs for breakfast… water , juices and they have a self service cappuccino or hot water machine.

A fantastic location, right across from the entrance to Vatican Museums. Easy to reach by bus and Metro. Easy instructions to get in the building. Great communication with the management team and Giuseppe.

The hotel had a great location, near the Vatican, restaurants, and shops. All were within walking distance. The breakfast provided is left in the room for the next morning and has a variety of packaged items. There is also yogurt and juice in the fridge. There is a cappuccino machine in the eating area where you can sit. The attendant was very friendly but we did not see him much. No one available in the evening but we did have a number to call if needed. We didn't have any issues so it did not matter. The shower was amazing with hot water and good pressure. Good quality towels. The room was clean& the bed was comfortable. One wall was painted light purple and it could use another coat of paint to cover some marks on the wall. I would suggest a grey color instead to match the lovely red, white, & black picture hanging above the bed. We enjoyed our stay there.

Bed was awful——mattress thin and hard, pillows very thin too. Bed is a pull down portable bed over the couch. Great location, great staff, clean quiet, beside the Vatican wall.

Not a true Bed & Breakfast

Our stay was okay. The room was clean, but the shower leaked whenever we used it and it was hard to come by staff. We only saw them twice during our week stay. It’s in a more residential part of Rome, but you’ll need public transport to get to the most main attractions and the metro closed at 9pm. It’s within walking distance from the Vatican and have some great local restaurants. The reason I would say this isn’t a bed and breakfast is because there was very minimal interaction with the host and breakfast was a a basket of crackers, jam and a croissant that’s wrapped in plastic and sitting in your room until you want it. It was not a fresh breakfast. There is a self-serve coffee machine in the common area but it’s very loud. The breakfast wasn’t sufficient so we brought breakfast stuff at the grocery store (like fruit, yogurt, cereal, meat) to make it more balanced. I would stay this is a good option for someone who’s staying for a night and/or wants more of that hotel-vibe.

5 day Rome trip with friends

This property is less than 5 minutes walk from the Vatican Museum entrance and 15 minutes walk from St. Peter’s square. That’s why I picked it for my first 3 day in Rome. My room (Michelangelo) probably once was part of a larger residential flat in a typical residential building. There were 4 different rooms side by side in a longer corridor. Common area in the end of it had an excellent coffee maker, a large breakfast table, 2 cereals option and a small patio. Breakfast that was provided by the property was a typical Italian breakfast: sweet pastry, biscuits, toast, few jams, honey etc. ( Don’t expect a typical “American” breakfast such as eggs, bacon etc. This type of breakfast is not typical for Italy. 😉) My room had a small kitchen area with a stovetop, mini fridge & personal safe was also available. Very comfortable bed. Clean linens, Daily housekeeping. Federica was our main contact person and she was absolutely fantastic!! Very sweet and super easy to heal with. Hearing the various bells from Vatican every day after 8am was an added bonus. ( They can be used only at certain times and not during the night or super early in the morning 😉) I would definitely stay there again in the future. Highly recommended!!

No frills Bed & Breakfast. The Location is excellent if you're visiting Vatican City. And just a 3min walk to Cipro Metro station to connect with rest of City. Friendly staff and easy check-in (before noon) and clean. Great breakfast snacks and espresso machine in community kitchen. Can highly recommend if visiting Rome for a few days!

This was a great stay in The Vatican, right across from the walls by museum entrance. Location is perfect. I love how they have a coffee maker in a communal room and snacks in the room along with water. Federica was super hospitable. The area is pretty residential, so not a lot of restaurants and such. You have to walk away for a bit which we didn’t mind, but this could be an issue for some people.
