I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The building is extremely old and poorly maintained, and cleanliness was a major issue throughout my stay. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in both the hallways and the bedroom, similar to sewage coming from the toilet and shower, which made it very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, on the last day there was no water at all, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Cómodo, amplio, excelente ubicación sobre la vía Nazionale. Del lado izquierdo una trataría verdaderamente italiana y deliciosa. Había un poco de ruido de la ciudad pero eso no puede evitarse, es una vía muy transitada. En general nuestra habitación fue fantástica! Agradecemos infinitamente el café y cafetera nespresso dentro de la habitación! Fue un detalle delicioso cada mañana!!! Grazie mille!

The location is excellent for seeing many of the bigger tourist attractions. Service at check in and check out was also top-notch. Despite being put in a “new” room, the establishment itself, however, leaves something to be desired. The room itself was fairly clean, but the route to get to the room was complicated, dated and definitely not clean. We had to pass through several different doors (requiring actual physical keys) to get to our room, and sometimes would find these doors unlocked and left open by other patrons (making us feel a little unsafe). The building itself is very old (expected for Rome) so there’s nothing to insulate noise between rooms. With this, we dealt with noisy neighbours for a couple of days and ended up having to knock on their door late at night to get music turned down. Outside of using WhatsApp (and hoping you get a text back) there’s no way to reach the main desk from the room itself for any sort of assistance. While the room was comfortable and offered plenty of space for 3 of us, during a rain storm we noticed drywall dropping from the skylight in the bathroom (suspect moisture getting in) and couldn’t help but notice mold all around the skylight. It’s unfortunate the space is not great, as the service at check in, in particular, was awesome. Staff at the desk took the time to help us map out a route to the sites we wanted to see, recommended public transit routes, etc. Regrettably, we would not stay here again.

We recently stayed at Hotel Domus Rome and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. We were assigned Room 207, which had a very strong and persistent odor as soon as we entered. The smell did not go away during our stay. The only way to make the room somewhat tolerable was by keeping the window open all night. However, this made the room extremely cold and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. We informed the staff, but we were told that there were no other rooms available, so we had to remain in the room desite the issue. A hotel room should meet basic standards of comfort and cleanliness, and unfortunately this experience did not meet those expectations.

The Hotel Domus Rome looked ok on the picture only. It’s a old hotel. Rooms are very small bathroom was very tiny as well. Bed super hard. They have limited hot water so we had to wait for hot water to warm up. They want you to reuse the towels. The receptionist was rude. The housekeeper personel didn’t respect the tag hanged on the door do not disturb. Woke us up 3 times. The hotel smells like old pipes! I do not recommend that stay.

Nous pouvions entendre toit ce qui se passait dans les autres chambres, meme si les personnes parlaient à un volume plus que raisonnable. Il n'y avait aucune isolation sur les portes entre les chambres donc on entendait tous les sons des chambres avoisinnatens. L'emplacement est bien, mais a moins que vous soyez les seuls sur l'étage est dur de dormir paisiblement.

The manager of the establishment welcomed us right away by helping us with our luggages up the stairs and into the elevator. Also, Aurora, two of the night auditors and the two ladies who gave us water, were very accommodating, helpful and very welcoming! The only one who wasn’t as helpful is Mark, the newest member of the staff. We requested for a shuttle service to the airport, and he stated that we were too late. Although, no one told us that we had to give them a forewarning, in which we actually did. We requested for it the night before we checked out. Especially since their website stated specifically that we would have a free shuttle service to the airport. That is the only discouraging factor of this establishment.

Upon arrival we only had one bed instead of two as we booked. Was told we would be moved the following day as they were fully booked. Next day came and no moving was done. Asked for an extra pillow and was told they had none. The front desk played music loud throughout night. We were in the room nearest to front desk and could hear the music/phone ringing. We checked out early as we could not sleep. We did inform hotel but never heard back from them. Book a different hotel if you want sleep
