"First the plus points - staff were polite and, on the whole, helpful. The bed was king size and very comfy, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom featured two sinks (always handy to avoid those domestics!).
Breakfast was nice, especially the continental section.
Now the downsides... we were in a downstairs room which came as a surprise. So although there was a large window there was literally no view.
The room was billed as deluxe, and although it was nice, it didn't feel deluxe...

"Hotel was great, a few steps to several bakeries, restaurant and other stores. 15 minutes from the Eifeltower, matter of fact you can see the Eifeltower stepping out of the hotel and we could see it from our window. Room was great bed was comfortable. Had a little fridge which was stocked daily with beverages. Bathroom was nice with a walk in shower. Loved the bathrobes and slippers.
Breakfast was "continental" as we would call it but they also will fix eggs and bacon if asked. Staff was very...

"The staff at the hotel were amazing. Very friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was pretty good, but you can get better coffee elsewhere at the countless bistros nearby. It's in a great neighborhood. But the rooms are very small. That's why I gave it a 4. But there's nothing wrong with the hotel and I'd stay there again."

"Hotel Solly is perfectly located, walking distance to the Seine, Notre Dame and many other sights. Metro is just around the corner. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a balcony on the 7th floor. The suite was small compared to American standards but it was fine, however there is very little space to put your luggage. My only complaint would be the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. We did mention it to the staff but it was never resolved. I also wish there would have been a bar to...
