"It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel ."
"Staffs were wonderful , very clean clean kimono every day , food was good water tea and coffee also matcha available all the time . Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. "This was exactly what we wanted. We got the traditional Japanese experience in Kyoto. The transit was a small walk through a quiet and safe neighborhood. They had a restaurant that we ate at and a nice traditional Japanese breakfast. The small beds on the floor were a surprise to us all how comfortable they were. Loved this experience!"
"Easily the best hotel experience I had while in Japan. The staff were incredibly helpful, I love the fact that the room came with a tea kettle. Location was easily accessible to the subway. Amenities were top notch. The breakfast spread was excellent. "
"Lovely Japanese style hotel with friendly and attentive staff.
We enjoyed the complimentary Japanese breakfasts daily that were delivered to our room at a time we chose.
Rooms were immaculate and cleaning done daily with fresh towels.
Enjoyed looking at the koi fish and beautiful views of the pagoda from the rooftop garden.
Very convenient to train station and restaurants.

"Everything was superb, could have done with the pillow being a little bit more softer but even despite that fact the bed as a whole was comfortable and had no issues sleeping and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the WiFi too and most places were in walking distance from the hotel especially the train station which was only a 15 minute walk."
"Well overall it is ok. Double meals was unexpected better than one can think.
Don't forget to prepare for Kyoto accommodation tax. I wish I could have paid together from the beginning.
However it is quite far from subway station so be mindful."
