This hotel is very nice but the location is a bit inconvenient. I think Kyoto as a whole doesn’t have a wide train station so every tourist attraction from the hotel is a 15-30 min car ride. The hotel was clean and staff were nice, no hotel breakfast though. The beds aren’t the most comfortable but it’s manageable. Overall would stay again for the price.

Room condition was good and clean only be mind full if you need 3 beds one would be a sofa bed not too comfortable When it comes to checo in have until 9: pm and checkout no one to talk to or assist if you need anything One thing you need to keep in mind is you’ll need a bus to get to the closest station and the buses don’t pass too often specially in weekends Hotel is a bit far form service such a restaurant or train station.

Spacious room with a washing machine. Knowing that we can wash our clothes really helped minimize the amount of clothing we packed to Japan. Although it is within walkable distance to Kyoto Station, approximately 20 min, we have had to take a taxi back to the hotel after a long day of exploring.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only cons I noticed was that there were limited pans and plates to cook homemade meals. Only the fridge was very small so we were not able to store many groceries there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stay SAKURA Kyoto Fuga. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable with excellent service. However, most tourist spots and train stations were a bit far, so we often used Go Taxi to get around luckily, taxis were affordable and convenient.

Kitchen setup was cleverly hidden under a table but the staff was super helpful. I love the area around the hotel and it was super convenient to walk to different places or get to a subway station. The only downside is that the ensuite laundry doesn’t have a dryer but it was not a deal breaker
