"A bit walking distance to the train station and shopping. "

"3 star hotel treating their customers less than 1 star. It still baffles me that a hotel offering a washing machine/dryer and refuses to give change to use the machine. In fact so determined not to do so leave notes about it. I have been travelling for 5 weeks and I have never come across this! I can only see this as a way of the hotel trying to force their customers to ‘buy change’ for the machines. I had enough coins for the washing machine but not the dryer so left the heating on all day in my room to dry the clothes. What a false economy for the hotel. Maybe think of what would be helpful for people staying with you. The indifference, greed and customers having to use other methods (at an additional cost to you) seems ridiculous and not at all eco-friendly. What a shame! I had other things I would have liked to ask the hotel staff but after this it was very clear to me I was not valued and it wouldn’t be worth my time. The only thing I could do is write this review."

"Great location, very close to Kyoto Station and a subway stop even closer. Rooms were spacious, shower was great. Amenities included laundry, ice machine and microwave. Toiletries provided. Air con\heating in room. Kyoto station as an huge underground dining area so you’ll never be short of somewhere to eat. 7/11 next door too! Great location for exploring the city."

"The staff can communicate in English pretty well and assist in checking us in. Its location is further from other hotels in the vicinity to the Kyoto train station. We found the bed sheets dusty and it was changed for us. Bathroom is small , not much space to put your stuff. But we think it is a newer hotel and has massage chair in the lobby for a fee. There is hot spring but we did not use. It has water cooler, microwave and vending machines but no shower caps."

"The lobby of the hotel is very artsy. Basic amenities are available such as toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, cotton swabs, pajama shirt, and my favorite, bath salt with various aromatic oils. They also give you two water bottles daily which ia nice. The sink of our bathroom didn't drain well but they fixed it right away. The shower head doean't want to stay in place. Facility does seem old and the heater was dusty. But overall it was comfortable staying here. About 6min walk to Karasuma line and 15min walk to Kyoto Station which wasn't bad. You can even walk to Fushimi Inari area (~25min walk) if you feel like. There is a small bar right across of the hotel and a ramen shop that seems to have a line most of the time. A cute bakery on the corner, Lawson is right there too. A tattoo friendly sento is 1 min walk as well, where all the locals seem to go. You can get the ticket to the bathhouse at the lobby and they will also lend you the bath kit as well."

"Staff were lovely. Location good for day trips to Uji and Nara as well as Fushimi Inari Shrine. Room was abit stuffy, but otherwise clean and nice 💟 "
