Apartment-style rooms are as pictured; large and well equipped for longer stays (full kitchen , washer-dryer, dishwasher, etc.) Better instructions for combination washer-dryer would be great. No A/C but there was decent airflow with windows open and fan in the second room we had (first room we had was not as cool but we moved rooms as washer was broken in first room we had). Location is pretty good. There is a bike rental rack right in front of the hotel and easy access to bike lanes and subway to all main areas. Lots of places to eat nearby.

The apartment had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Great location with easy access to the tube. Friendly staff and locals. Only thing missing was a table and chairs on the balcony but i guess you cant have everything.

Palatial by London standards

First things first: it helps if you're not a light sleeper, as a Tube line runs underneath the building. That said, if you're a really light sleeper then maybe a hotel in the central busness district of the world's greatest city isn't for you anyway. Aside from the odd rumble, the rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and extremely well-equipped. Palatial by London standards. Having a full kitchen in the apartment makes a massive difference. I fully intend to come back with my family and use it as a base to explore.

You get quite a lot for your money wrt to space and room facilities compared to a local travel lodge which was only £20 cheaper. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very friendly. Will absolutely stay there again. My only comment was the corridors could have done with a hoover.

The front desk staff were very professional, attentive and helpful. The room was nicely furnished and well equiped. The dining table collapsed, we appreciated that the leg had been glued in less than 24hrs. The only negative was the food (heavy spices) smells trapped in the hallways or carpet. We enjoyed our stay!

Did not like that they charge so much over everything. And we asked for extra bed sheets they said because we didnt put more than two sleeps we were not allowed to have extra blanket even when we were cold and also they told us they would charge us extra £45 to use a sofa bed that was already in the room that i paid for! It was abit rubbish. But the apartment looked really nice and the furniture and everything.

Another great stay at Marlin

We have stayed at Marlin many times, the location is amazing and the property is fabulous. Only downside is that some of the apartments face towards the WeWork next door, and that’s where the commercial rubbish is located, so it can get extremely noisy as bottles are thrown away late at night and were collected around 6:30 am. Rooms on the other side of the building don’t suffer with this so it’s Luxor the draw I guess. We will be back though, we love it there, just need to bring some earplugs.

This apartment was a great value and very spacious. It was an excellent location for my business travel needs. I think it is especially well suited for a longer stay. The staff were all very professional and responsive. The only drawback to our stay was the fact that all power had been turned off in the unit prior to our arrival, so the fridge needed to cool, there was no hot water and the WiFi router needed to be rebooted. Once those mysteries were solved, all went smoothly. Another note to travelers with lots of luggage: access to certain wings involves a few stairs, so perhaps ask for a room closer to the lift.

I came for a three day event at the Worshipful company of Pewterers where I a member of the Livery. I was very happy with the location, detested the perfume sprayed in the corridor and would have preferred a table with access to internet connections and accessible plugs rather than ones at floor level. Unhappy with the presentation of information as I am 83 and I cannot access the Q boxes. I am 83 so my IT skills are very basic.

Great location within walking distance of St. Pauls, Tower of London, the Tate, and a wharf for Uber boats. Bathroom large and with large, fluffy towels and nice supplies (L'Occitane). Kitchen large but not set up particulary well with cooking equipment (no toaster, only one pot, very limited number of dishes). Given how nice the kitchen is, I was surprised that the equipment was so skimpy. It seemed like we were supposed to have more than one pot (we had two lids but the pot and frying pan were missing). I asked twice for replacements but didn't get anything.

coming from US, it was a bit wonky to figure out how to use appliances and whatnot- just not used to having to switch on power before using , and the washer/dryer combos always challenging. Once finally figured out the 'fluff filter', found many plastic remnants from the detergent tabs which had impaired the drying cycle. You have most of what you need in kitchen, but varied between units- all had poor knives, one had a cutting board, pots and pans inconsistent, one missing a french press for coffee. ( staying in 3 different uints). The front desk was usually staffed and helpful when able to provide missing items. Very convenient to public transportation and good location for walking tours- empties on the weekend with more limited dining closeby.

I chose this hotel because of its central location and advertised (4) star rating. It’s false advertising, a 2 1/2 star rating at best. The sofa and curtains were dirty with stains and smelled badly. The bedroom was very small and cramped. Only (1) night stand because there wasn’t enough room for a second night stand. Could only get in bed from one side because the other side of the bed was too close to the wall. Also had to use my suitcase for a 2nd night stand! Live spiders crawled the bathroom and bedroom ceiling and walls. My wife was horrified!! Loud noises daily and nightly. Could not get a good nights sleep! Manager (Martina Spireve) was very rude and disrespectful when attempting to resolve a simple hospitality issue. Rest of staff was very accommodating and nice. Although I prepaid my full bill in advance, the manager ignored my concerns and took a condescending and humiliating tone with me. I will never stay at the Marlins Apartments again thanks to her!

Avoid at all costs! Train shakes make sleep impossible. We came into reception after a long day of travel to be greeted by the rumble of the train while INSIDE the building. Reception said it was quiet in the rooms and don't worry. It was worse in the rooms. Every minute or so a train would shake the rooms. We were exhausted and tried to sleep through it. It was awful. In the morning we asked to cancel our reservation moving forward. They refused. They offered another room - but after they said the first room would be quiet and it wasn't, we were not going to trust their word again - Marlin Apartments failed miserably and didn't deliver. We had to make last minute arrangements so we could sleep. We tried to work with hotels.com and Marlin repeatedly to get reimbursed for the nights we didn't stay - we believe in fairness and paying for our night - but the management at Marlin was incredibly rude and trite in their responses. I'm sure they'll boiler plate some response to this - and it will in no way make up for the terrible service. We didn't receive reasonable accommodations, nor were they honest in their assessment of their spaces. No services beyond the first night were delivered and yet they want to keep our money. It's not a space rest, unless you're accustomed to loud shakes and rumbles. Also, the apartment space, while spacious, was not in the best condition - a faucet was broken and one of the fans had fallen apart. There's a smell in the space as well. Avoid it!

Ubicación genial, muy bien comunicado con transporte público y a poca distancia a pie de algunos puntos de interés de la ciudad. Apartamento espacioso y muy bien equipado para poder cocinar durante la estancia. Supermercado pequeño a la vuelta de la esquina y centro comercial a 5 minutos andando. Inconvenientes: 1) no hay posibilidad de dejar maletas (pero hay opción de late check out con suplemento) 2) por las noches se oye bastante el metro pero en nuestro caso fue soportable y no nos impidió descansar. Repetiríamos.

Nothing wrong with the apartment itself, except that it’s directly located above the underground central line. I stayed in apartment 6 on the first floor and heard every train (to the point of rattling the doors) until approx 1am, then starting again at approx 6am. Very little sleep because of it!

Conveniently located apartment building meaning you can walk to a lot of central London sites, plus a Sainsbury’s and restaurants in close proximity. The apartment itself is nice and spacious by London standards. The kitchen meant we could cook fresh food for our baby whilst we had 10 days in London.
