This hotel was in a good location for us as we wanted to be close to where my daughter lives. It is ideal for the tube station and the beer garden at the back was nice.
I felt a bit uneasy that the reception wasn't staffed much, we only saw someone there once. There was a mobile number to ring, but our key cards didn't work very well, and I would have felt awkward ringing the number late at night.
We didn't have any milk with our tea and coffee facilities and when we asked about this, we were just told it wasn't available. Given that we were staying there for the full weekend, I do think that it would have good if a pint of milk from the shop could have been put into our fridge. It wouldn't have cost much and would have been a good way to give customer service.
I would also suggest that a bedside table next to my bed would be a good idea - there was one next to my partner's but not mine, despite there being available space. I had no where to put my morning cup of tea on ... oh wait, I didn't have one because there wasn't any milk ... ;)
Good value for money extremely convenient location. Free parking (except between 11.00am-1.00pm in streets opposite side of the road. Above a pub although separate, sign is on the side wall vertically

My room was pleasant enough but there is a distinct lack of hanging space for clothes. A clothes hanging rail positioned above the kettle and tea making facilities. There was room enough for a small wardrobe against the wall by the window which would suffice for a week or more's stay.
Hotel Unique is centrally placed in Golders Green, ideal for the underground, on the Northern Line to access all parts of London. It is clean and more than adequate, the showers are particularly good. Situated over the Refectory so food and drink are available there or there are a number of restaurants close by.
Very neat and cozy. Wasnt very fond of the area, because it was on a kind of main street on top of a pub. Otherwise hotel service and cleanliness was very good and very satisfied with that.
The location is good for short stay, close to Metro station and train station. nice connection from Luton Airport. in area few nice places to eat. disadvantage is the train rails which can be noisy and bar downstairs. Strange fire alarm in the middle of the night, trigger by something happening in the bar downstairs. Wifi available.
I would recommend this hotel for people who want to only have clean room to sleep and days spent in the city visiting. Reasonable price.
It was in a great location, very close to the tube station. It was very secure which made it feel safe, and everyone there was friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Room and bath kept spotless. Liked refrigerator in room. Clothing rack awkward clothing hangs over coffee making. A/C welcomed and needed. Quiet operation. Need keep windows closed since main thoroughfare. Worst: no one at reception upon arrival. Needed ask other guests exiting to allow me in to call for checkin. Had verbally and emailed arrive around 6 pm. Guest told me the woman from hotel left at 5. "Good luck." Frustrating to think checkin a problem. Do I need to locate another gotel.....lose my $$$?? Also, most annoying of all, main door to enter hotel "reception area" constantly slamming every 5-10 minutes, shakes room, loud, even on second floor. Seemed to be constant slamming 1st floor room and main door from 9pm to 11pm.
Good location for underground and food. Will hear trains constantly. Was in front so got street noise not outside pub guests.
clean and comfortable but no reception night-shift anymore as they had years ago

Descent place in a very convenient location
The hotel is very well located, 2 min to the northern line station. A lot of nice restaurants around. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The AC needs to be on as the room was very warm. Wifi is not free
The hotel is next to Golders Green station, literally yards from it.. It is also above a busy pub and pub garden.. as a result It could have been noisy, but it was fine.
Rooms are clean and well equipped, including good air con, which is essential, as you can not open the window as the tube line is yards away.
The big reason not to use this place is the fact that the reception seems to close at 7. I arrived a 7.30 and was literally handed a key and told to leave the key in the box when I left in the morning. At no point was it communicated to me that the check in was this early. Two customers were locked out at 8.30 trying to check in.
Also, I needed the wifi passwrord and to inform them the TV was not working... No one was in the hotel, the telephone number was a phone mounted by the door of the hotel, which rang but was not answered, the emergency contact is an email!! Shockingly bad service.
I would suggest that you book at the MStay or other hotel in Golders Green as they can not guarantee to even let you in! Shame as it is a good clean hotel
This has become my favorite hotel for visiting London for my weekend courses. Not only is the team very friendly and professional, the location is perfect for me having to reach various places in London. Bus stop right in front of the door, Tube station (Norterhn line) across the road.
It has become my second home.
