Basic hotel but kept clean and is in good walking distance from Euston station so easy to get around London. Good option if you're needing somewhere to sleep after a long day out and about.

My stay at Goodwood Hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, I encountered extremely poor customer service — the front desk staff (who I believe was also the manager) was rude and raised his voice at me when I calmly suggested there was a better way to communicate hotel policies. I was surprised at the hostility, especially when I was simply asking about holding my bags for a couple of hours before check-in. The rooms are very small, and most of them have *shared bathrooms*, which was in the advert but you have to be paying attention. None of the rooms are as advertised - the front desk staff verbatim said the picture posted online is used for all the rooms and the rooms don’t actually look like that. The bathroom facilities were in poor condition — more like small closet-sized stalls, with the toilet and shower in separate, cramped spaces. Not kept clean - Definitely not what you'd expect even from a 2-star hotel. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and check-in/out outside of the first encounter went smoothly. That said, you truly get what you pay for — maybe even less. I was glad it was just a one-night stay!

leider war der aufenthalt nicht so besonders: für das dass wir nur unsere koffer vorm check in ins hotel gebracht haben, bezahlten wir 30£ zimmer waren sehr unhygienisch und wir fanden noch gegenstände von den vorherigen gästen, das bad gleicht mehr einer nasszelle auf einem boot als einem hotel und auch nicht sauber, sehr verschimmelt zwei wasserhähne beim waschbecken, also wasser entweder sehr heiss oder sehr kalt, konnte man nicht mischen personal war freundlich, jedoch bekamen wir für unseren early checkin keine rechnung

The only reason this hotel gets a star at all is the redeaming qualities of the staff who were perfectly cordial, professional and pleasant. Also, it doesnt allow you to give 0 The bed was disgusting with a literally spring sticking out of the mattress. Our only solace was that the sheets were crisp and clean as was the bedding. We opted to stay in our street clothes nonetheless. Our guest mates above continued their nightly inebriation outside our door ALL night, the conversation was chaotic, volatile, loud ranging from uncontrollable sobbing to maniacal laughter. The staff attempted once to quiet them to no success. It was close to terrifying You could smell the rancid booze every time they walked past our room Let's not skip over the odious scent of the hotel in general; damp, musty and urinated. Room needed a deep clean, extraction fan was clogged, photos have ALOT of artistic angles. Super close to the CBD and easy to get in and out of. No bag drop if you are flying in early and no check in before 2pm. Would call it more of a hostel than a hotel. Good for a cheap(er) option close to the city

We were able to access our room earlier than stated which was nice 😊! Our room was adequate, clean… bedding too! The hotel was close to amenities… the only problem was very squeaky fire doors which you could hear due to other guests using the shared bathroom & toilet….

Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel est un hôtel low cost, où tu entends tes voisins, les planchers craques, la lumière de ta chambre ne fonctionne pas. Le personnel est gentil mais pas vraiment disponible changer une ampoule ! La propreté est ok dans les chambres, mais pas dans les sanitaires!

Great location for Euston, Kings Cross and Russell ... No rooms with 2 double beds - Hotels.com should not indicate available when not an option (even though pictures give impression it is). Did try messaging before stay but no reply. No net curtains on ground floor room where windows at street level so have to keep dark curtains closed with lights on at all times. Old sash style windows single glazed and not soundproofed or insulated, thankfully had wall radiator but that doesn't help the sound you hear from the nearby pubs/bars or people stood outside hotel. Raised (not mentioned for those with mobility issues) wet room ensuite cubicle door did not stay shut unless locked from inside & door footplate was loose with screw sticking up! Rooms do NOT have a hairdryer as booking indicated there was - there is 1 hair dryer for ALL 27 rooms. Only 1 thin towel per person, no hand towel or wet room floor towel so you step out into room with wet feet! (Thankfully had 4 towels as room was for 4 even though only 2 of us). No housekeeping for duration of stay. TV only had BBC stations. Doors are not designed to close quietly - our room had front door & entry corridor one side & entry corridor to other rooms and floors on another. Front door, corridor doors (our room was sandwiched between two), & other room doors banged constantly throughout the evening & in to early hours. Two double drains on road just outside so constant dumdum dumdum - road closure saved us after day 1. Regula
