This is an incredible way to experience the culture of Kyoto! The hosts are quick to respond to any questions in perfect English. It's clear they have been doing this for a long time and have mastered it! They even provided us instructions in Japanese to give to our taxi drivers (which was a life saver!).
The house is beautiful, quiet, and serene, with all the modern amenities you want. We will be coming back to Kyoto (much longer next time) and will stay here!
