Good reasons to choose the hotel

The public bath saloon is very big enough and comfortable. The menu of breakfast is more than expected with varieties of local food o Kobe. These two points are the reason why I choose the hotel again since January, 2025.

Very clean with a nice bath and sauna. The room was relatively large for a Japanese hotel. The furniture and decoration was a bit dated and they could improve by upgrading the lobby and guest rooms with chairs, tables, and shelves amenable to doing remote work.

Very central and very close to many shopping options. Close to a train station and easy to get around Kobe. Restaurants everywhere and good selection of different cuisines. Free coffee in hotel lobby and space to sit down is a real plus. Only criticism is that the elevators can get busy and the elevators are slow, minor issue.

Retro style hotel but rooms are modern and nice size. Kobe as a city is not as clean as most Japanese towns but hotel was clean. Good breakfast. Overall good value. Not far from train station

Convenient and clean hotel

The location is good with many dining options near the hotel, including Kobe beef options. We use some of the amenities like public bath, self-service laundry (at B1) and parking (2500yen per day). The service staff is kind and professional and can speak english. We wish they could have instant coffee options in the room and that the public bath is close later at night and in the morning.

Hotel is in a very convenient location for restaurants and transport. My main criticism of the room is that there were no drawers or shelves to put away clothes. The other problem was the lifts were very slow.
