"Nice time great for morning walk along the river. Breakfast was ok. Onsen was ok. Hotel front staff was not effective "

"The staff is very friendly and hotel is beautiful. the only complaint i have is i ordered Japanese breakfast through expedia."

"Very good overall "

"The Front desk and Concierge were amazing and set me up for an amazing Japan Adventure"

"This is only sort of kind of the whole property, Kyoto has very strict tax laws and needs to have a front desk and therefore part of the property is that, additionally the upper floors are inhabited, but none of that matters really because of how wonderful the people and the space are."

"Stayed in the room with a private bath, and its own interior water feature/mineral water stream. Possibly the best room(s - it was more of a suite) I’ve ever stayed in. Clean tatami mats, lovely meal, great private bath - we spent a lot of our visit just sitting next to the small waterfall/stream and reading."

"Great hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately not that close to tourist attractions. Highly recommend the hotel"

"Beautiful property and great location"

"Everything was dirty and disgusting."

"Perfect stay in a nice area. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a hot shower; what more could you want. "
