"Beautiful and funky property. The shared spaces were very nicely appointed with a room full of records and artsy books. Loved the indoor and outdoor onsens here as well. The tatami mats and floor seats were a unique experience as well. The only small negative is that it is a little off the beaten path but even with that point & that it was raining, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend."

"Beautiful hotel. Clean baths and artistically designed. Convenient location, walking distance to train station, albeit a steep walk with luggage, but the sister hotel at the bottom of the hill will provide a shuttle. Great, traditional dining. I would stay here over and over again."

"Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home."

"15時過ぎにチェックイン、早速お風呂に入浴した。残念な事にお湯が少しぬるい。
しばらく湯船に浸かっていたが、体温まらず。気温が急に下がってきたので、もう少し温度を上げたほうが良いのではとスタッフさんに伝える。
夜に再度お風呂に行った。さっきより温度が上がり、ちょうど良い湯加減に。
ホテル側の迅速な対応に感謝！
他は部屋、食事、ホスピタリティは満足で、言うことは無し。"

"The property itself is really nice and they offer pick up/drop off from Gora station. Breakfast was good. There isn’t a lot around this hotel so it seems best for those planning to stay at the hotel for meals/amenities/etc. They offer scheduled drop offs at Odawara train station but it’s only convenient for those going back to Tokyo (we were headed to Kyoto and had to take the city bus instead)."

"Very clean and modern, in a great location for the Hakone loop. The beds are VERY uncomfortable- both the futons and the single beds which are soooo noisy it’s impossible to sleep because every time you breathe they creak. Apart from the very poor sleep, this place had everything you needed with a well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom."

"Close to the station which is nice for getting around.
Half board food was amazing. They were even able to accommodate a soy/nut/fish allergy (different people), which was fantastic.
The sleeping futons were tough on some members of my party, so make sure everyone is ready for that.
The staff were amazing, don't be afraid of asking how to eat something."
