The hotel is just next to riva arun pier to go to wat pho pier for cheap and nice view. It's situated in the old part of bangkok in which I really like and they are next to two michelin restaurant in which you definitely need to try. By night you will see the wat pho lighted "

"Very nice boutique hotel that is near Wat Pho. Convenient as Bus stop is just near the hotel. Amenities are really nice and toiletries are spot on. They have a cafe at the ground floor that offers amazing Thai Style Breakfast. staffs are friendly and accommodating. The towels are really soft."

"Aurum The River Place has one of the best locations in Bangkok, right by the river with a stunning view of the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun). The breakfast is excellent, and enjoying it while looking out over the river and the temple makes it even more special. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming—they treated us like family during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bangkok who wants a beautiful view, a delicious breakfast, and warm hospitality."

"Upfront, this is not 5 star hotel quality accomodation, it is closer to hostel accomodations, being a tied up dive boat. The cabin are big enough for a full size bed, and suitable for two people to do whatever you want to do in a bed. The river quiets down at night and there is no problem at all with sleeping, either for noise or for water movement. The great thing about this accomodation is location. It makes all the sites along the river easily accessible by one form or another of water...

"My brothers and I stayed at Central Old Town Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an excellent breakfast every morning to start the day off proper. The yogurt and juices were incredible. Rooms were charming and had great air conditioning. Location was great and accessible to many attractions by a short walk. "

"Nice stay with our family. Right in the middle of a street market which was a bit overwhelming for our kids arriving in Thailand for the first time but if you love Thailand the location is great. Great view on the palace and what arun und what pho. Ideally located at a boat stop which is a great ride to the Temples and the palace as well as to the next metro station. "
