"It is a lovely building and the room was large and a beautiful period space. The pool area and grounds felt a little worn and uncared for and breakfast was ok but not great. No hot running water in the room, which wasn’t a massive issue for one night on a hot day but perhaps suggests this is being run on a budget. Worth being aware that no air conditioning so on a hot summer night, it wasn’t easy to sleep well with just an old, inexpensive fan plugged in in the room."

"Great peaceful location (bar the occasional plane but quiet at night), used as a stop on our travels, only 35 minutes from Nantes airport. Staff was nice and room was very clean. Comfortable bed and nice views over the garden. Didn’t get a chance to try the wine but there was lots of choice. Good choice for a continental breakfast. Room was great value for money. "Our stay at this chateaux was truly amazing! Our hostess made us a delicious breakfast every morning, and we swam in the pool in the day and enjoyed the games room in the evening.
