Lovely place to stay, close to centre

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The best hotel I've been to in France! They literally thought of every little detail, from chocolates and small towelling robes for the kids and special toiletries for them; to solar eclipse glasses on solar eclipse day. Amazing! Lots of bottles of water provided, everything superb quality and very pleasant and helpful staff. Immaculately clean and a high level of luxury. And real functioning air conditioning, which is rare in France! 😀😀😀

Excellent hotel in walking distance to all the tourist’s activities. Well maintained with modern feel. Very comfortable beds and modern bathroom with separate toilet. Tea & coffee in room. Breakfast was €17 and nice selection. Hotel bar was excellent and good value for money. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I loved this hotel, it was clean, cute and everyone was helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone, its an easy walk from the station and into central Colmar. There is a bus stop just 5 mins away if you want to travel out to Base Nautique or any of the other surrounding areas. Beds were comfy, room was clean. The only thing to bare in mind is that the shower is exposed to the room, so if you are sharing with friends, be aware of this.

Brilliant location, easy public parking directly in front, spacious room, very clean with great service and very reasonable rates (in mid-Feb £85 per night). Ask for a room overlooking the river for lovely views. Be aware this is a provincial French hotel last updated probably in the 1980s so decor is brown wood and beams - we loved it but if you prefer a modern design ethos you might not.

In an excellent location in the historic centre of Colmar. The main sights of the town are in easy walking distance, but access by car is also straightforward. The hotel itself is modern but in keeping with the attractive surroundings. Not too large and ideal for business travellers like myself or those on holiday. And perhaps most importantly, good value for a clean and comfortable room.

Very nice central hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. There is no lift which wasn’t an issue for us. If you need easy access request a ground floor room. Greeted by a very helpful welcoming lady and all staff were kind and welcoming and happy to speak English as our French isn’t great. Would recommend this place. We chose the Roi Soleil Prestige as a base for touring the Alsace wine region. The hotel was easy to find, had ample car parking, spacious, welcoming (with English speaking staff) the rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast each morning was good. As the title says - it was difficult to fault. We are already thinking about a return stay to visit the regions xmas markets. I have no hesitation in recommending the Rio Soleil Prestige.

Loved this character apartment on the ground floor, delicious breakfast served in the room. Access to a fridge just outside the room. Modern bathroom. Excellent communication from host in WhatsApp and suggestions for restaurants and winery. Would definitely recommend, and stay again!

A great hotel for us, having a stopover in Colmar on our journey north. Just a short walk to the centre. Comfortable bed, quiet...we got a good night's rest. If you have a couple of hours, there is a great self-guided walk around the main points of interest in the town.

If you are 40+, this hotel is not for you... The room is clean and trendy. A free-standing bathtub stands in the center of the room, and it and the shower take up a significant portion of its space. The wardrobe can hold 2 shirts, and the refrigerator has room for 2 bottles of soft drinks. Amazing City of Colmar! Great location of Odalys City Colmar La Rose d'Argent - very clear and cozy room! We will return to this location!

The staff were extremely helpful and very polite and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

The layout of the triple room is really good and gives some privacy. Loved the home made breakfast. Easy bus to station or town from right outside the door.
