"I loved it all. The river view, pool, bar, restaurant, service, and how kind and sweet everyone were. I loved the location, the peace and tranquility it brought to my life. Which was much need for an Emergency Room RN. When I arrived I was greeted my a wonderful young man, he was kind and very pleasant. This world needs more people like.him in it. My only regret is having to leave so soon.

"The shuttle drivers were excellent friendly and informative. They waited for us 3 hours past our pick up time due to our flight from Dallas being delayed.
It should be known that even though they take you to Placencia village at specific times you can call them to be a taxi as well and save money over the price of a regular taxi.

"Housekeeping was exceptional. Provided daily services. Front desk staff was also very friendly. They made us feel comfortable after leaving a very bad situation through Expedia booking."

"We recently returned from our trip to San Pedro, and I wanted to share that our stay at Captain Morgan's Beach Retreat was a highlight of our experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with great kindness. Janet at the front desk was wonderful; she ensured our check-in was seamless and personally escorted us to our room. The entire property has a peaceful and incredibly relaxing atmosphere.

"Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. "Great resort. Some tours and activities were not offered because tourism is down throughout the region due to seaweed. The resort and staff are excellent. Food is ordered from a neighbor resort and is excellent. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely come again."
