"The Sleeping Giant is a real gem and in itself a reason to head to Belize and spend a week at this beautiful resort south of Belmopan. The grounds and the interior design of the cottages and the house we rented are the best I’ve enjoyed in many years of travel and the staff is A plus. "Clean rooms, perfect host. Dominic welcomed us warmly and cooked for us in the evening. We had good conversations and felt very comfortable. If it weren't so far, we would come back. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. The farm is even better in reality than in the photos on the Internet."

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...
