"First, I wanted to notify you that I contracted 2 strands of E. Coli, one containing toxins from eating/drinking at your resort. Your resort was the only place I ate or drank anything on the island. Was hospitalized upon return home. Overall the stay was good. We might consider staying here again for snorkeling/diving, given its location on the island. Shuttle service from airport to resort was fine, air conditioned, took probably half hour just to negotiate traffic to leave the airport...

This resort caters mainly to locals and it appears that many come to this resort to relax and unwind on the weekends. "We stayed for a total of 7 nights, celebrating milestone birthdays and seeing the island for the first time. The Fiesta room was perfect for our family of 6, it was spacious, modern, and very clean. "If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay."

"Great location with a local feel! Less touristy than other parts of the island and easy transportation to other areas via water taxi or cab. Rooms were very large with a nice breakfast in the coffee shop with a local option was included. Great spot to get away from more touristic areas of the island 🏝️"

"Nice hotel and staff the economy rooms0 are small and dated no refrigerator or microwave you have to walk to the lobby to get ice but other than that a good hotel to stay and the free shuttle and boat to big French key definitely a plus"

"I had such a good stay here. On the affordable side and it was still so clean, the staff cleaned the room so well every day. The breakfast was SO GOOD. I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Is close to the beach and have so many food options near. Definitely recommend!!"

"The morning breakfast was delicious. A good variety and it changed a little each day. It was a short walk to the gorgeous beachfront. Lots of restaurants and the most beautiful sunset ever."

"The air conditioning was nearly worthless, thankfully there was a ceiling fan above the bed. The round toilet that literally sat 15” from the floor, and the width of the toilet enclosure was barely 26”. I’m not a big guy at 5’8” 225 lbs and that toilet space is TIGHT. Other than that no complaints."

"This was a nice boutique hotel in a cozy bay. Traveled with my husband and daughter. Our room felt alittle cramped and would have definitely preferred a larger room. Everything else was great. Water taxis, excursions, restaurants were all within walking distance. The shuttle was great to and from airport. If you want a quiet less commercialized experience would highly recommend."
