"This was such a peaceful place to call home during our visit to Roatan. Just a short car ride away from the busier west end/west bay area where we would visit for activities or dining. The Blue Bahia felt extremely safe and everyone was very welcoming. The kids loved the darts, ping pong, and cornhole. Plus they have kayaks to use and the food at the beach grill was some of the best we had all week. highly recommend staying here! So charming and fun. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is ideally located and the room & staff were excellent. The pool side was never too busy (even during Spring Break) and the grounds are kept immaculate. We made use of the well equipped gym every morning & the breakfasts were great, with lots of choice. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel is dated but definitely clean, and well kept. Staff is helpful and provided good customer service. The beach needs to be cleaned, too much seaweed and many rocks, no able to enjoy it. The good options are limited and lacking flavor, the beverage choice is lacking as well. Hotel is located a bit remotely and leaving the facilities will cost you a fortune. "

"Great staff, great food. The beach is beautiful and very peaceful and private. The bungalow rooms have small kitchenettes and very comfortable beds. Very quiet to sleep at night. Great reef to snorkel right off of the dock at this property. Included breakfast was excellent every day. Their restaurant also serves great lunches and dinners till 8pm. "This hotel is vintage. The rooms are old and if you get the economy room its obvious. Spend the extra if you need more space and a decent view. The restaurants have great service. The breakfast vouchers were a blessing to compensate for poor WiFi. All in all it was a C+ and I was ready to go."

"The place itself is fairly nice. Fairly inconvenient having to check-in elsewhere and get to and from the front desk, but not a big deal. My issue is the property has tons of cameras and I do believe my wallet was taken from the desk in my room while I was sleeping. "We were upgrade to an Owners Suite, but it didn’t have an ocean view, but the extra amenities were worth it. Breakfast was delicious, and the beach was gorgeous. Staff were top notch. Lounge chair views were obstructed by beach vendors on one end, but we always seemed to get a lounger with unobstructed view. Afternoon snacks and Champagne were a nice touch. We will definitely be back!"
