"Very nicely appointed modern design and a great location near shopping areas and Sanjo subway and bus stops. We would have liked a room with a view of the city instead of the inside parking courtyard and more vegetable breakfast options for pure vegetarian/vegan folks. For non-veg folks the breakfast buffet was great. We did not have much staff interaction unlike at some of our other stays in Tokyo and Kawaguchiko. But whatever little interactions we had they were very positive. Will stay there again in future. But will ask for a room with better view. "

"This was such a cute little quaint hotel! The breakfast is the only thing I don’t think is worth it, especially considering it’s so close to many restaurants that you can just walk 10-12 minutes to the Nishiki market or the Terramachi market."

"I reserved a room for one and got a clean, compact room intended for a solo traveler. Ideal for one, it was comfortable and quiet. With an efficient bathroom reminiscent of something from a cruise ship. Has every amenity I needed for a one night stay in Kyoto. Excellent value. "
