"The rooms were basic and some bugs got in although we were careful, but the rooms were clean at least. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner in the restaurant and had the free breakfast one day, it had a nice variety of options. The highlight was the hot springs area. It had a great vibe, very cool with lights and a swim up bar. The grounds were also gorgeous with the vegetation and we saw a few birds walking around too. I would stay again!"

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Paradise Hot Springs hotel. Great location for all of the activities we did (hanging bridges, whitewater rafting and zip lining). A short (and cheap) uber to town if you want to go out to dinner ‘off campus.’ The staff was amazing, especially Andre, and very accommodating (I.e., arranged for boxes breakfasts for early morning adventure). Main restaurant is pretty good and also always have a buffet option (around $24). Hot spring pools were great after daily...

"Beautiful room with a beautiful, private view. 1 king bed for two adults and had 2 other single beds for our 2 kids. Was spacious for all of us. Amazingly nice and attentive staff."

"This hotel was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have ever been too. The room was beautiful, exactly as pictured. We loved not just the in deck hot tub, but the pools as well and the 98 degree pool bar. Pools are open 24 hours and are very warm, so even in the rain it was amazing. The chocolate cake at the bakery was sublime. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an absolutely 5* experience."

"We had a wonderful stay here with our 5 teenage/young adult children. I was skeptical that the views and the rooms were as great as the pictures, but they were even better. We had two villas near each other for 7 people and had plenty of space. The location is private, yet a short Uber drive to La Fortuna. The food at the restaurant was great, though not a huge variety. "Hot springs were outstanding "

"The individual cabin style rooms are very private and cozy. Almost too cozy! We like to be woken up by the sounds of the jungle and these rooms with heavy curtains are perfect for sleeping in. It was both a blessing and a curse! I do wish they didn’t use BRIGHT WHITE lights. Soft lighting would have been better, and would go much better with their decor. Having a front glassed in and a back open porch was great to enjoy the mornings…. We actually caught a glimpse of a Howler Monkey going...
