"The room was very nice and very clean. Location was good and not a far walk from the train station. Lots of food options close by. Checkin was a little unusual as there are no staff on the premises, but they sent good instructions. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very comfy beds!"

"The view from the room was fantastic, and the room itself was spacious, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, those were the strongest parts of the stay. The smell of cigarette smoke on the ground floor was very strong and unpleasant, and the hotel overall felt quite old, with dated amenities. The view was probably the only feature that felt close to a five-star experience. Overall, it was practical and spacious, but the property itself felt tired and less polished than we expected."

But, the hotel itself is very stuck in the sixties; old furniture, stuffy design, and a clunky check in process, as well as net curtains make it feel a little bit like staying in a very nice care home."
