Old and Outdated…

We stayed only for 5 hours just to find a place to sleep for very early morning departure. The owners were very kind and friendly. They get my 10 points for that. However, the place is old and a bit rundown. The furniture is very outdated. The bathroom was outside the room but was right next door. Basically, it was an old building converted to a hotel room. There was neither A/C nor fan, so the room was hot. We had to open the window, but there was constant and loud noises from the street as it was facing main pedestrian area. Great views but check the small print …

The staff were very friendly and informative, food was great, their own produce was great and the views were amazing. I would love to return in warmer weather when the pool is open. The only downside was being charged €50 cleaning fee. I missed it in the small print when booking. This wasn't a fine for leaving the rooms untidy, this is their standard charge for their 1 bed apartments. We stayed there 1 night and still had the same charge as someone who stays for a week. The costs should be part of the overall price.
