Hotel Erwin Venice Beach

"We had a two night stay here. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you, because the surrounding area is colorful and vibrant with activity going into the wee hours. This did NOT impact our enjoyment of the hotel, however! Clientele was both young and old, families with young children and couples. Valet and front desk staff were great and I'd like to give a special shout out to the people running the breakfast room at the bar. They were super friendly and went beyond expectations to make sure we had what we needed. It's a two minute walk to the beach. Be aware that parking is quite expensive, but it is to be expected, considering the location."

"The location was fantastic but there’s hardly any amenities in this property. No free water or tissues. No plates or utensils in the kitchen. And no cleaning of the room when we were there. It’s quite basic but because it’s close to the beach, it’s good for staying as long as you don’t expect any hotel service."

"Right on the beach. Easy access. Parking is two blocks away through the hotel but there is parking right next to the hotel through another company. No a/c so be prepared to keep the windows open and run the fans to keep cool. There was only one breakfast cafe open near the hotel so be prepared to have to drive for breaky. But for the price, right on the beach you can not beat this place. I would stay again and stock the fridge! Also the staff were really nice they get two thumbs ups!"
