The location was excellent with close access to everything whilst being far enough away to be out of the bustle of Downtown or West Hollywood. The team were helpful and the premises clean, and well presented. I would stay here again (especially once the onsite pool is renovated)

The location was fantastic, a very walkable area to stay in Santa Monica, lots of shops close by. The pool was closed due to maintenance/construction taking longer than planned, but we got vouchers to use the pool at the Shore each day. The pool at the Shore was beautiful, and only a short walk from the Pierside, and not very busy. The Pierside hotel itself was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful! We stayed with our infant and really enjoyed it.

Easy and helpful check in. Bar and restaurant on site was convenient and good quality. Very close to the pier and beach. However, calling it an ocean view is a stretch... none of the rooms have a truly good view of the beach or ocean. Overnight valet was expensive and our car didn't move for two days from the spot under a tree where we parked it ourselves upon check in. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly.

The property was comfortable, clean and nicely located. Staff was friendly, but mandatory valet was time consuming and a bit chaotic. We had an ocean view, but had to stand in a specific corner in order to catch a glimpse. Our main view was of the freeway and park. Hotel has beach chairs, boogie boards, and surf boards guests can use. The beach is a bit of a walk and the notion of carrying anything so big or heavy was prohibitive. Bedding was comfortable and we slept well. Easy access to pier, shopping and restaurants.
