"We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and had the most magical time. Visited in July so although hot and humid outside, the AC worked great inside. Loved having our own private onsen and the provided bathroom amenities were quite lovely. Bathrobes, yukatas, slippers, towels, pajamas—everything is provided for guests to wear. And we wore our yukatas a lot! They take care of your shoes and umbrellas at the lobby and then you let them know when you are ready to adventure out for the day so...

"Everything about this hotel said relaxation and rejuvenation. We could feel it as soon as we stepped onto the property. The complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner had so many delicious options! We enjoyed the open air baths as well. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay!"

"It is a hotel that is tucked away up a hill, but it’s very quiet and quaint. The service is above and beyond, as our hotel manager reached out to offer us a ride from the bus stop in advance and saved us what would have been a very difficult walk uphill. He also gave us a ride to Togendai station where we were able to catch the ropeway, scenic cruise, and grab dinner. "The entire place was horrible. It smelled of mildew. It had fixtures that were broken and ripped. It did not meet standards at all. Absolutely the worst place in the world to ever stay.
