"Quaint old hotel with nice first floor and breakfast area. Good breakfast. Location is in older part of town- not walking distance to nice restaurants or beach. Near pretty park good for watching sunset. "
"First room smelled very musty with a sweet scent on top of it (I assume to mask the odor). Asked to switch rooms. The desk staff were very accommodating and the second room was fine. Furniture, carpet, etc. are in need of
refurbishing and there are no amenities of the type that you expect from a Hilton hotel. A problem because the room charge was $345 for one night plus $45 for valet parking (no self parking on the premises). The hotel is very very well situated for walking to many downtown attractions, bars, and restaurants.
