mazing stay at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club! Beautiful property, very elegant and well-maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent — fresh, delicious, and great variety. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Vinoy, the most I’ve spent on a room and the least impressed I’ve been. The manager at check in was rude and tarnished the vibe for the stay. For over 1000$ a night, I would prefer that the bathroom be free of mold, mildew and not have broken fixtures. The staff (bar staff and valets) were always complaining about their jobs within earshot of hotel guests. The only redeeming experience was our spa visit, which was fantastic as always.

I had a lovely stay at the Vinoy. The hotel is beautiful, clean and has wonderful staff. The pool and spa were perfect for relaxing and the nearby park was tranquil and lush for morning coffee walks. Definitely check out the coffee and pastries from the lobby cafe - they are delightful!

My Wife and I spent 4 nights there and were more than happy with our stay. Its a beautiful property but it may not be for everyone. There are a lot of stairs and sloped walkways that could be challenging for seniors or those with disabilities. Yes, in most cases there are ways to navigate using the multiple elevators throughout the property but I found it less than convenient. Another issue was the limited choices for meals. While the website makes it seem like there are many restaurants on-property, there are really only two. Elliott Aster, a formal, dinner-only restaurant that definitely requires reservations, and Paul's Landing, the only restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Others mentioned like Parasol, which is a pool bar/restaurant that's only open from 11am - 6pm, Veranda, which is really more of a late afternoon/evening patio bar, which is usually packed, and Lottie, which really just a walk-up coffee bar that also serves baked goods and premade sandwiches, are not actual "restaurants". Fortunately, there are plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. We only ate breakfast on-property during our stay Our room was very nice, with a great harbor view. Unfortunately, every evening there were loud parties on the lawn directly under our balcony. Thankfully, they were over before our bedtime so it wasn't a problem for us, but I could see this posing a problem for parents trying to get young children to sleep.
