"It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great either. The biggest disappointment was the food. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and understand the food is usually average at best, but this was noticeably worse than what I’ve experienced elsewhere. The buffet options were very limited and lacked flavor, and surprisingly there weren’t even tacos available, which felt odd considering we were in Mexico. The best meal we had the entire trip was actually across the street at Iguanas Restaurant, which was excellent and a highlight of the trip. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted very watered down most of the time. Another issue was the limited dining availability. Only one restaurant was open each night, and reservations were difficult to get. The last reservation slot was around 9pm, which filled up quickly. There were also several small things that added up. The hot tub was barely warmer than the pool, the pools closed early at 7pm, and the beach was completely closed at night. There were no hammocks or beach daybeds to relax in during the day. Entertainment in the evenings was minimal and not very engaging. We were traveling with a group of 12 people, and there really weren’t any good hangout areas large enoughfor groups besides the lobby couches. Overall, the resort felt pretty average and lacked the little touches that make an all-inclusive experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we wouldn’t choose to return."

"We were not notified at all that there would be construction going on during our stay. While on the beach we were literally less than 20 feet away from construction so while we are trying to relax on the beach all we can hear are LOUD power drills, slamming of wood, etc. It was anything BUT relaxing. And one of the nights we stayed the construction and loud power tools were still going at 10:00 PM at night. I was shocked that they were still working and shocked that the resort would allow that sort of disruption to happen so close to paying customer's rooms. We did not receive daily house keeping and sopent our last day on the resort with zero towels in our room and we did not even bother to ask the front desk because anything you ask for, if you don't have to ask twice, you have to wait an hour plus for. Also the view from my room was another wall and some of the pool. Less than desirable but we did not opt to pay for a certain view, so."

"We had a great star at this resort! The staff were amazing (shoutout to everyone that works here)! The pool and beach were fantastic, however I do have a major complaint - they need more sand on the beach volleyball court. Multiple people were smacking their knees and toes off of cement as there was the tiniest layer of sand over concrete. It’s been 4 days and my knee is still disgusting and won’t heal and it’s been cleaned and take care of properly. The food was good, but I was disappointed with how the smokehouse restaurant only had Americanized type food. We were excited for a nice steakhouse type (something more authentic, but pub style food) Resort was beautiful. A little confusing to get around at times, but it was a fun challenge at first Rooms are nice, but the bathroom has no fan or windows that open - you can hear everyone doing their business in there and it smells up the whole room. Not having windows that open also caused our stuff to be damp and musty smelling. Beds are comfy "
