Casa I Cappuccini is ideally located close to the major historical sites in Rome. It was an easy 9 min walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. The Colosseum and Vatican were also walking distance but because of the late summer heat we chose to use a taxi for those sites. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Downside is that the hotel does not have a restaurant or vending, but there are a number of dining options right outside of the door.
Air conditioning worked well. Rooms are very plain but that’s the atmosphere as it’s an old monastery. Rooms were clean. Mattresses aren’t the most comfortable I’ve slept on but OK. Amazing water pressure! The museum and bone crypt that are attached is really cool. Transit and train access is great. Of course lots of food nearby eats and walking distance to Trevi.
This place was ok but extremely overpriced. I needed something for just one night and booked it in a rush- the room was small dark and empty looked like some kind of hospital room and no space for anything, kept my luggage on the bed. The bathroom was nice and the AC worked. The location is just ok, close to Spanish steps and the train station.. I’ve stayed in air bnbs and hotels that were right in central Rome and much more beautiful and with more amenities and way less expensive; this was a waste of money, I was happy it was my last stop and only one night; wouldn’t recommend based on value for the cost.
This was my first trip to Rome. I found the location to be exceptional. So many sites were near enough to walk and shopping was incredible. The On/Off bus which I used to get oriented to the city stopped a block away. My room was simple, very comfortable and solidly built - heavy wood door and shutters. I loved my view of the street and was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn’t noisy at all! Don’t forget to go to Harry’s for a peach Bellini. The best!
Amazing location so close to the Trevi fountain! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, giving us advice on what to do and when to go. The rooms were clean and spacious! Would 100% recommend to friends and family and would come again :)
Great safe location. Taxi, bus, metro, sites all close. Quiet at night. Had elevator, AC, professional staff, front desk, WiFi, and luggage storage. Basic and simple but very convenient. Will come back!

Everything is nearby, very convenience, staff very helpful , we will stay again when I back in Rome
This was a great hotel right in Piazza Barbini, perfect location. Piazza Barbini is safe and clean square with tons of restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk to trevi fountain in about 10min, then to Pantheon 15min so everything was super easy to get to from this hotel. Metro station is directly in front of the hotel which made longer trips to Vatican etc easier.
The hotel is attached to a beautiful church and the Cappucin Crypt which were both wonderful, highly recommend!
Room was very clean, bed was comfortable.
The only downfall was the guy at front desk everyday had a serious attitude which was annoying. He was VERY serious about check-in being exactly at 3pm or later. Made everyone wait till exactly 3:01 which was comical but we met some really nice people waiting! The guy who works the nights and the house keeping ladies were super sweet.
They held our luggage for free while we explored around, we took the red eye and arrived early at 9am. No charge for luggage storage. I would definitely stay here again! Great hotel and great location!
