This is a very good place to stay if you're looking for something simple and affordable. It's not too far from the train station and very close to the Metro, which was great for exploring other parts of the city. As for some comments people made about Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, I wouldn't say it's filled with criminals or unsafe. Sure it might have "interesting" characters, but that's typical for parks in big cities anywhere. Since we are from a big city ourselves we were completely fine with it and not in for a shock. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The included continental breakfast was much appreciated. Our room and bathroom were very clean. If you can get a room with the en suite (dedicated in-room bathroom), go for it. We opted for the detached private bathroom, which was okay but requires some additional planning if you bring a lot of stuff with you.

Excellent Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome with Danilo and Cristina. The room was very clean and they provide all kinds of food for breakfast. The hotel was located pretty central for us to travel around Rome.

Fabulous breakfast, super service. Bed very comfortable and pillows the best! Lovely touches such as sweets and biscuits. Not easy to find as situated behind a big solid wooden door and upstairs with only a small sign. Area is a little dark and not as busy later on but did not feel unsafe. The metro and tram are very close by. Don't be put off by the communal area of the building, the hotel is charming in its own space. Hosts are very nice and welcoming. Good value for money.

Estamos muy agradecidas con el trato recibido por parte de Danilo y Christina. Siempre muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Si vais, no dudeis en coger por 3€ el desayuno que te ofrecen en el que tienes mucha variedad (fruta, bollería, zumos, cafe/chocolate...). La comodidad que ofrecen al dejar unas llaves propias por habitación y baño teniendo libertad de poder acceder a estas entancias cuando se quiera. Si volvemos a Roma sin duda volveremos A Casa Di Mei.

Приятный отель с прекрасным хозяином Данило. Отличный wi-fi. В номере есть чайник, чай, кофе и конфеты. Хороший завтрак: йогурт, сыр, ветчина, масло, свежая выпечка, соки. Кофе отличный! Очень чисто. Хорошее расположение, рядом с Термини. Оптимальное соотношение цена=качество.

Great B&B

The two that ran this B&B are so hospitable. Very friendly and catering. They did everything in their power to make sure we had everything we needed at breakfast for example. They also allowed their guest plenty of privacy which is nice at a BnB. Great experience.

Aunque al subir las escaleras te espera algo lúgubre, una vez entras a las dependencias del hotel todo cambia, el personal es de 10 y te hacen sentir como en casa, las habitaciones son cómodas y todo está luz limpio, sin duda, si vuelvo a Roma repetiré.

A home away from home

The owners of this bed and breakfast are wonderful people. I am not sure you could meet nicer people. One of our hosts speaks very good English and was extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit in Rome. He also patiently explained the best routes to get there. The room was nice and big and this bed a breakfast is minutes from the subway and rail line. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend this place to anyone headed to Rome. If I could give it 10 stars I would just for the nice hosts!

いろいろな条件を考えて・・

B&Bです。場所はビットリオエマニュエーレという広場に面しています。55番という番地を目印に呼び鈴を押すと、重厚な木のドアを開けてくれます。このエリアはテルミニ周辺よりさらに下町感が強く、インド人も多く住んでいるようです。ゴミが落ちているのを多く見かけたり、落書きも多いです。 中華やコリアンの店がいくつもあり、食事をするのが便利でした。 チェックイン時の時間をきちんと知らせていないと、宿にはだれもいないことが多く、表でずっと待つことになります。このあたりには多くの同じスタイルのBBがあり、呼び鈴をずっと押して待っている人たちを他にもいくつも見ました。僕も「二時から四時迄の間に着く」と知らせたのに「それでは時間の幅が大きい」と返事があり、実際にオーナーが登場したのは4:30でした。そのあいだ通りで待っていました。 オーナーのダニエロさんはとても丁寧な接し方でホスピタリティを感じられました。部屋も丁寧に掃除をしてくれます。朝ごはんも卵はないですが、ハムやチーズなどもあり、安宿としては立派なものだと思います。 残念な点はエアコン。壁掛け式の室外機が外にあるエアコンが、建築上できないのかとは思いますが、床置き移動式の冷風扇のみです。夏の宿泊だったのですが、暑かったです。 一番安い部屋はトイレが部屋になく、別のところにトイレがあります。窓から外は見えません。回廊の空間があるだけです。他の部屋はトイレシャワーつき。 なお、 ホテルズドットコムの説明では「アップグレード」とありましたが、これは空き室のある場合のみです。私の場合2泊目にアツプグレードしてもらえました。レイトチェックアウト可とも記載がありましたが、これについてはメールで確認してしっかりと「23時まではオッケイですよ」と連絡を受けたのですが実際は不可でした。10:30チェックアウトですとあっさり言われました。たぶん、コモンダイニングで過ごすのはオッケイということだと思いますドットコムの表記には時々このようないいかげんな表記がありますね。他にも「スパ無料」とか書いてあるホテルもありましたがもそんなのなかったです。 なお、二泊した時には空港までの片持ち送迎を無料でしてくれます(これは書いていない!!)。 あと、この夏以降、1年くらい??、地下鉄が閉鎖されていて使えません。隣のテルミニ駅まで歩いて行かないと地下鉄に乗れません。 カーサデメイはエアコンやチェックインなど難しい点はありますが、それでもこの値段を考えると値打ちは大きいと思います。

Hotel simples, tipo B&B, com ótimo custo-benefício. Bem localizado, além de ser próximo do terminal central tem estação do metrô bem em frente. O proprietário Danilo e sua esposa sempre muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Café da manhã simples mas gostoso. O quarto sempre limpo e organizado. Ficamos 04 noites. Com certeza recomendamos.

Gute Lage !

Bis auf das wir ein eigenes Bad außerhalb des Zimmers hatten ( beim reservieren könnte man auch Zimmer mit Bad im Zimmer Bereich reservieren aber da haben hatten wir was nicht beachtet und hatten mit externen Bad reserviert ) aber das Bad war unser privates Bad auch wenn wir um die Ecke gehen mussten :) . Trotz dessen war es sehr sauber und ein sehr freundliches Gästehaus ! Hatten sich sehr bemüht . Vorallem das Frühstück war super, meist schon besser als in manchen 3...4 Sterne Hotels ! Das Kolosseum war 10 min zu Fuß entfernt, im großen und ganzen wars fuer uns ne super Lage um überall hinzukommen wenn man bedenkt wir haben echt alles zufuss unternommen . Wir würden es weiterempfehlen .
