"So this may be a bit long. First, the resort was spotless. I’ve never been in a cleaner one. There were lots of options for food but Bella was our hands down fav! It had many more menu selections than the other restaurants did. The steakhouse really needs to add fries to their menu as a side for their really good steaks and cheeseburgers. The sushi place was awesome too! And loads of options for the buffet - breakfasts were amazing. But what really impressed us here was the staff. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff catered to you like they did here. They were incredibly friendly and helpful with an outstanding work ethic! Their customer service skills are truly above reproach! "

"The property was okay. The toilet leaked and I was told by the reception staff that all tissue and toilet paper had to be disposed of in the garbage - no paper of any kind could be flushed. Wasn't expecting that. There wasn't much provided in the way of amenities - shampoo but no conditioner, no hand soap, body wash, dish soap, etc., and had to use some of the towels to prevent the leaked water from the toilet from getting too far into the hall. Having said all that, the staff were pleasant enough, the room and the property itself was clean, and not noisy, and I felt like I was really in the heart of the city, with wonderful shops, spas, restaurants, etc., all within walking distance. A very walkable area, for sure - I didn't take a single bus or cab anywhere, which was awesome."

"If the beach is your thing, this isn't the place for you. It is very narrow and rocky and attracts a higher than average amount of seaweed which has a strong odor. The cabanas, which must be rented by the day, take of the edge of 80% of the pool side space."

"Overall experience was good but not great. Property is clean and well maintained, but a solid hour from the airport. Room was clean and well maintained but could use a facelift. Staff was nice, but not the best I’ve experienced. Food in restaurants was good for an all inclusive, not the best ever, but definitely better than most I’ve been to. Pool was good, but beach was pretty small. Unfortunately, the seaweed was the worst Ive ever seen in my life, to the point where even their cleanup efforts couldn’t make a dent. You could smell it all the way from the front of the resort. It made the experience not very enjoyable because beach was unusable, couldn’t get in the water, which made the pool areas quite overcrowded. All in all, it was a great resort, very nice views, good for the price, but probably won’t return. "

"Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is right on the beach. Hotel is far enough away from the night life so not much noise. This is not an all inclusive, you can order breakfast for $10 us cold meal or $15 us per person for a hot meal. The restaurant next door is very accommodating, you can order and they will bring it right to your room or beach , we used them several times, great food!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Antera hotel and residences. The bed was super comfortable, we really enjoyed the rooftop patio with hot tub and it was great having a kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry facilities in our unit. The property is well maintained and beautiful and we really enjoyed the rooftop pools. The staff are friendly and eager to help but not all is perfect, there are a few issues with this hotel. The noise from a couple of bars thumps all night and is unreasonably loud. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but something that could ruin your stay, earplugs are highly recommended! I loved having a kitchen on holiday but this kitchen lacked cupboard space and more importantly a toaster,(we ended up using the oven to make toast). Unfortunately during our stay we encountered cockroaches in our room, they sprayed all the drains a couple of times but the problem still persisted. I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t check back with us or offer us anything for dealing with this issue. I would return for another visit but next time would ask for a quieter room. "

"Great location. With a supermarket, a coffee shop and a taqueria downstairs, close to everything. Looks to be very new building and super clean. The room was big, I wish there was a microwave. The rooftop pools were awesome! Didn't try the restaurant but it looked very good. Will stay again if we don't opt for an all-inclusive resort."
