"Overall, had an amazing trip! I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Property was very clean and we had plenty to do. My real only complaint was the difficulty of getting dinner reservations but we were also there during Spring break which I’m sure made it more difficult. "

"I had to change the room because the next room had a party at 2 in the morning and they were extremely noisy even though the security staff told them three times. The following day, I was awaken by a loud noise created by a drunk person and there was a big chaos on the 4th floor."

"It was okay as per the price. I asked for maintainance the first day couple of times because the water was dropping from the bathroom celing and noone follows up and the issue was not resolved.The pool was good. The AC stays in 20 degree and you cannot adjust the temperature.There was maintenance going on we were distributed for almost 2 days .Needs maintenance all round the resort. Overall it was okay."

"Loved our stay here! Came with my friend, and we had a blast relaxing, eating and just spending time at the beach. We’re both vegetarians and were happy to see the plant based menu in all restaurants. Erika at the coffee shop was the warmestttttt - loved the coffee she made and how happy she made us! Only biggest con here is that the water is always marshy and not the blues you’d expect when you think of Cancun."

"This was my first time staying at the AVA Resort and I loved it, it’s clean, new, family friendly, and they have a lot of staff that is well trained. The check in was so easy and fast (if you book with EXPEDIA or are a member you get private check in and a concierge). We check in and got our room in under 20 minutes, we got placed on the north side room 729, we were right downstairs from the bowling alley, arcade, buffet, a bar, taqueria, ice cream shop, and the pool deck. Unfortunately we were only able to try 1 restaurant with was the MINAMI and it was a 10/10. The buffet was good not great. They had 2 coffee stands that were good too. It is a super safe and secured place, we did excursions everyday so we got Ubers and we had to let the workers know so they can give access to the drivers. The pools were clean, you’re always able to get reservations for the water activities. My 5 year old loved the kids club, they have different activities everyday and have certain hours for family time. Worker clean room 2 times a day, room service food is good and fast. Check out was fast too. Loved this resort will definitely be coming back. The location was amazing only 10 minutes away from the airport and Ubers ranged from 5-10 dollars to zona hotelera"

"Better sound proofing the rooms near Bash would be a great improvement.Extremely loud banging music till 2:00 am every night was tough..At least warn people,,and give them a choice to room further away.Also,the wonderful folks that did a tremendous job of cleaning, and re-stocking the room each day,but if they were a little more quiet in the hallway starting at7:30am when people are still trying to sleep..I do realize it’s an“Adult party atmosphere”,and a lot of people come there to “ let loose..”Other than that, we had a good time,and like to come back again."
