I spent 3 nights as a solo traveller - felt safe, it was very conveniently located near bus stop #9 for all my tours, and there was a convenience store and restaurants just across the street. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and having a kitchen in the suite really helped. I would there again. "

"We arrived very early and were fortunate that our apartment was ready. We really appreciated that we were allowed immediate entry, especially since my daughter was feeling unwell. The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a fantastic location. A few mins walk from bus stops for tours, 15 mins walk from the bus terminal, central to restaurants, cafes, shops, harbour, supermarket etc. The WiFi cut out one evening and I emailed the company. It was late at night but...

"Very nice guesthouse situated in a quiet area, yet close to central city. Owners contacted us before arrival to instruct about access to our room. When leaving, my daughter forgot her gloves and hat in the room. The owner contacted us and arranged sending the items to Sweden. THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"This was a very comfortable stay for our last night in Iceland. The room was a little small compared to some of our other hotels, but we had a big surprise when we opened the door at the window to find we had the fourth floor balcony that looked out over the city. That was a huge plus and a very nice surprise. The breakfast was one of the best we had at any of our hotels. The staff was very courteous and friendly.
