"A fantastic hotel. The rooms we very clean. We had a great view from our room, looking out over the waterfront, with snow covered hills in the background. However, I believe that some rooms looked inwards over the hotel lobby. The hotel is spotleiclean and the huge hotel lobby has many features. The staff were supremely helpful and friendly, but at the fear of singling one in particular out - a big shout out to Olga, for whom nothing was too much trouble, a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is just a little way out of downtown Reykjavik, but there are 2 bus stops nearby, and the bus ride is only a few minutes into the centre. If I go back to Reykjavik in the future, then without hesitation, this is the hotel I would look to book."

"Location is very good for bus tour pickup and dropoff. Hotel is by Bus Stop 12. Restaurants and points of interest are within 3 km radius. Staff were very helpful and courteous"

"Location is great especially if you have a car. There is free parking which is great. It’s a nice a fantastic bakery which is handy and near all the motorways for easy daily day trips. Kitchen was great and while small very useful. We had a king bed and twin and they were cozy with the right firmness. Shower had great pressure and a hand shower which ladies appreciate. The sink is finicky and will spray water at you but that’s a small complaint. Tried to use the tv with iPhone and it wouldn’t work oh well. All in all lovely location and place to stay with easy check in using just a code sent to your email. Make sure you have access to the internet when you land. "

"The shuttle is two blocks from the hotel. Staff were very helpful! Breakfast is good and plentiful (not cheap but no food in Reykjavik is). Clean, and very quiet rooms . Best bed in 3 weeks! Worst disappointment was clouds during the Aurora!"

"The apartment was amazing, clean, had loads of space for my husband and I and our three kids. The breakfast we had added on, which included fresh bread daily, yogurts, fruit, cheese etc was fantastic. The location made most of the top Reykjavik places to stay easy to walk to. We would love to come back here one day and honestly just book here again and not research anywhere else. 10 out of 10. "
