Beautiful recent restoration of hotel. An outstanding dinner one evening at LeMeurice restaurant. Breakfast was a disappointment (disliked the food preparation, e.g., soggy French toast, dry omelet, runny, blended scrambled eggs). Online declaration of no reservations for Bar 228 incorrect. As guests, turned away from the bar which had empty seating due to prior reservations.

Room is very clean. Garden view is great. Inner room has higher ceiling so, feeling spacious. Breakfast is delicious. Gym is little small. Staffs are great.

The staff act so formal and robotic. No personal and human interaction. Just greet you but are not warm. Also the continental breakfast was a choice of 3 croissants and a small fruit salad for $55. Total rip off!

The General Manager of Le Meurice, Franka Holtmann tends to ever detail for your comfort. The beds are the most comfortable, the hotel is gorgeous and service is perfection. The staff is truly engaged in the experience of the guests down to the bell captain who remembered me from my stay the previous week before a trip to Morocco, which he remembered and asked me about while helping take my luggage downstairs. That’s hard to train. You need to hire remarkable people for that result and Ms. Holtmann seems to have accomplished that beautifully! Thank you!!
