Hotel Elysees Bassano was an amazing stay. The hotel staff were so kind and the location is just absolutely perfect. The facilities are quite modern and our room was very spacious, in comparison to other 4 star hotels in Paris. The only down-side, personally, would be the smell coming from the bathroom. My husband and I couldn't figure out what it was but it disturbed my sleep.

Front desk clerks were all wonderful, especially the gentleman that checked me in. The staff in the breakfast area was also wonderful. The lobby and decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable.. The location was ideal for seeing all of the sites!

Didn’t like the fact that they didn’t offer an ice bucket no microwave in the room or anyway to just come down into the breakfast bar area and use a microwave. But as far as safe clean, that was really great easy to get to places put in 50,000 steps in two days so that was very convenient and accessible one block up you can look back over your shoulders and see the Eiffel Tower lit up that was the most amazing part of the location of the hotel

Hotel location is really convenient to enjoy in the nearby different touristic spots and well connected with transportation options such as subway and RER. Classic European charm in the building and rooms, just a little bit noisy as you can hear door closing if slamming and steps in the corridor or the cleaning service early in the morning.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Staff was super kind, rooms were clean and overall a great experience. Also close to everything, didn’t need to use public transport at all! Would recommend!

Stayed in a single room for one night. Excellent location if you want to be in the middle of everything. Room was tiny and without fridge/ice/microwave, but facilities were very well kept. Very reasonably priced if you are primarily looking for a place to sleep and shower while you explore the center of Paris.

Condition of the interior was poor (the hotel interior needs renovation, specially the rooms and corridors). The rooms were clean. The hotel location is very good, 4-5 minute walk to a metro station, and 1-2 minute walk to a few restaurants. Breakfast was OK but needs more food variety or options.

Avoid taxi from hotel

Pretty basic hotel central, average small a bit cold room with standard breakfast. Friendly nice service, clean room. Ordered a taxi from reception to airport, turned out not to be a taxi but the hotels private rental charging me 120EUR ! (Standard licensed taxi was 62EUR fixed going to hotel). Because of this I cannot recommend the hotel, felt scammed.

The staff were very nice and the reason I didn’t complain. It’s advertised as rainfall showers in the bathroom and they weren’t. The air conditioning wasn’t working and the window opened directly onto a platform next to someone else’s window, so I couldn’t leave that open during the night. The noise during the night from other people’s rooms was terrible - supposed to be sound proofed - and there was a loud noise rattling through the wardrobe in the room during the night when the upstairs room used the shower or toilet. It was clean and convenient but not the star rating it’s given unfortunately.
