1: I booked a room at Hotel Kanada via Hotel.com.
2: I was advised that reception was open between 08.00hrs and 20.00hrs.
3: We departed for Japan on 6.4.18
4: On arriving at the hotel we are unable to gain entry and were assisted with finding another place to stay by a local man [one of many who also tried to enter the building and who tried ‘phoning the number given - with no success].
5: This relocation caused us to loose half a day, of a one-and-a-half-day stay, as well as causing stress and concern.
6: On arrival home I found that we have been sent, after departure, an email [contradicting the earlier emails there was no front desk] giving us details to enter.
7: I have reported this to Hotel.com seeking a refund. They gave me an email address which does not respond.
8: I am now asking that I receive a full refund of £156.34.

There is no front desk and the people taking care of the rooms is tough.

Cheap hotel in the heart of Osaka
It was a smooth stay in the hotel. Reasonable price for a hotel room. Near to the stores and very quiet.

Not perfect but better than I suspect
Very strange type od check-in. I felt like during some tv show - It is hard to find that place without GPS and than you should put some code to open door. In fact it is room in block of flats. I was worry that for that price, space and great location (close to station), quality would be terrible, but it was not so bad. It is not 5stars hotel regardin level of cleaning but it is free of bugs etc. you'll receive more for that price than you could suspect.
Terrible!!!This is not a hotel more like an outdated air bnb. There are no Towels or any amenities. It is also far from shin- Osaka station that we had to take taxi to get there. The toilet is not clean but if you just need a cheap place to sleep and not looking for comfort it should suffice. We didn’t bother to take a shower because they did not leave towels for our use and the bath looks unsanitary. This is out of place from our overall Japan experience. We think the public toilet at the stations and train are cleaner and more modern. The place was not easy to find there is no signs outside particularly in English. I don’t think this should be marked as a Hotel when it was clearly an apartment for lease. I doubt we will stay here as there are no interesting points to visit around the area. I do not recommend this place. Please find another “hotel”... in fact I think a “cube” would be a step up.
Needs information personnel In the apartment . Need to call long distance before you can talk to management . Emergency and fire call no response . Not safe specially for foreiigners . Do not recommend this apartment
