"The room was a good size. It looked as if the room and hotel had been updated. Everything seemed clean and comfortable. I was able to set the AC to a temperature that was comfortable for me. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was a few blocks from a subway station. There was a lot of noise from the subway. "

"The hotel is very clean. Our room was clean but very small. Breakfast was ok. Location is not the best neighborhood and it’s not close to Prospect Park but it was good for our needs. "

"Let me start by saying I can be a picky person. Not obnoxiously so but, I DO like to be comfortable. I believe that your hotel room should be as nice as your home. Even better if it’s nicer than your home. I most always purchase insurance for hotels and airlines however, I’ve never had to file a claim…..until this trip! Let’s see how they handle this claim. The reason for said claim……. I had a reaction to something that was either used to clean or maybe in the laundry? But, I had a hard time breathing and became sick to my stomach while in the hotel. Fortunately, there’s a little “smokers patio” where I could go outside and breathe a little better. We ended up switching hotels and I no longer had a problem, breathing. I used to think Bushwick was ok but, it’s changed. Not a place I would include while making vacation plans. I was there for one reason which was to help pack up my daughter’s apartment so, she can move back to Los Angeles, now that she’s graduated. You’ll be fine there, just be realistic with your expectations !! It’s a short train or Uber over the bridge and into Manhattan. But, while you’re in Brooklyn, I recommend going to Williamsburg and Dumbo and on weekends under the Williamsburg Bridge there’s a great flea market. "
