"High fee for early check in, even though the room was ready. It was nice and clean, but the room was small even though I paid for an upgraded option. Luckily we were able to snag street parking right behind the hotel which was cheap until 9pm and then free overnight. The BEST thing about this stay was Deig donuts downstairs before leaving to hit the road."

Also found a moth on one of the curtains. Couch in room was covered in crumbs and hair upon arrival, this couch has seen things. Loud with birds and airport. Room was a toaster with minimal air flowing through window (barely able to open a crack), black out curtains were ineffective. Great shower. Beds okay. Had...

"Sort of mislead from internet info. Shared bathrooms with too many. Looks aged on outside. Cheaply done remodel. Shower too small. Too noisy from street people as you need to leave a window open. Info not relayed to phone properly. Never saw emails. I think k they went to Expedia maybe."

"We stayed at Center Hotels Laugavegur two nights after a two-week cruise to be able to explore Reykjavík. This particular Center Hotels Laugavegur was inside the city center, easy walking distance to most-to-all the sites in Reykjavik. The hotel was clean and well maintained and had a great breakfast buffet that we enjoyed. The Staff stood out to us as very helpful to store our luggage and help us get taxis to various city destinations and to the airport. Cheers to the Staff, thank you!"

"Aside for a bit of problems with the door code, handle and the battery that left me waiting outside for a bit I can not fault anyone. The staff via WhatsApp , phone and the guy that repaired my door were kind and polite. The room was not spotless but nothing to complain about. The room, the area, the view was great! Just a suggestion...if you leave some cleaning products and accessories ( broom, mop, etc.) it would make it easier to keep the room even cleaner as there is no service available....
