Booked here for affordability and easy parking. 35ish minute walk to the heart of the city (of course could drive or take a bus but we love walking - and beautiful walking trails just out front). "We stayed just 2 nights before we left for another part of Iceland. We arrived very early at 8 am due to an early arriving flight and we were able to get early check in which was very helpful! The hotel was in a good location at the end of the main shopping, bars, and restaurants area in Reykjavik so it was very convenient. The room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Our view unfortunately was of the parking lot and other buildings so if you want a room with a better view ensure you ask for that as the other side of the building faces the water. It was a perfectly good hotel and room and the price was affordable for us. We had the breakfast twice and it had a good selection of foods and the food was tasty."
