"The staff were very helpful and attentive. When we arrived after the scheduled check-in time, we were greeted kindly and the staff member took additional steps to make sure our stay was comfortable. "Fabulous hotel and staff! Only a 10-minute walk from Kyoto’s shopping district and situated in a quiet neighborhood directly off the main road, Hotel Muso was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was clean, beautiful, and super comfortable. We loved the amenities and layout. The staff was just as wonderful. Kind, caring, and very attentive when we checked in and out and throughout our stay. They even delivered a complimentary brunch! Hotel Muso is...

"We loved staying here and would definitely stay again if we visited Kyoto. Very friendly and helpful staff, amenities available to us were really useful and our room was perfect for what we needed. We also loved the convenient location to local temples, shopping, restaurants and multiple local train stations which made getting around very easy even with our baby. Very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone."

"Good location. Very nice place to stay."

"I liked the free self-serve laundry and access to bike riding services. I thought the room was lovely, clean and spacious and the staff were accommodating when we needed a late clean."

"Excellent location! I really that it has two bedrooms and a separate living area. Big enough to accommodate our family of four."

"Incredibly convenient location; lovely, simple and spacious clean room with comfortable beds and good pillows (harder to find in Japan than you might think!). Best shower ever (rain head). Room was surprisingly quiet considering the location. We really loved this accomodation. DO NOT MISS eating at Kyoto Gyoza enen Gion honten which is diagonally opposite for the most delicious gyoza ever (prepare to wait unless you arrive on opening)."

"Had an amazing stay. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many top spots."

"This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are ergonomically designed. Breakfast is wonderful. The view of the river and the panoramic view of Higashiyama from the bar and lobby lounge is great. There is even a lounge and patio with a firepit and complementary wine and marshmallows. Do not miss out on the Shimabara Tayu show if you happen to be there. And only a few steps away is the river and Gion area, the gateway to everything. The staff are so kind and helpful. We loved our stay here."
