"Overall, we had a good stay at Chanalai Garden Resort. The service was good, and the location is excellent — very close to the beach.
However, we booked a double bed room, but initially we were given two single beds combined together, which was not very comfortable. After we requested to move, the hotel kindly gave us a room with a real double bed. It would have been better if this had been arranged correctly from the beginning.
One small suggestion regarding breakfast: we noticed quite a lot of birds coming to leftover food on the tables. It may be better to clear used plates more quickly. Also, for unoccupied tables, perhaps the cutleries could be placed later when guests arrive, as some birds were sitting on the forks and spoons. I think this would make the breakfast area feel more hygienic.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly service."
"Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Beautiful, clean, and tranquil property. Delicious and extensive breakfast served each morning with the perfect views. Highly recommend."
