"Good place to stay in Kandy. Walking distance to most attractions. Unfortunately hotel has NO lifts and being 4 stories may prove difficult for some. Wide stairs and port service does overcome this but could be better. This should be highlighted in advertising. Breakfast buffet excellent, with evening meals available. Great view over Kandy spoilt a little by substandard building close next door. Hotel unlicensed for alcohol but I understand this is being addressed."
"This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Great Staff soooo suportive they helped me carrying all my stuff. Great Breakfast (omelettes with fresh and delicious fruit, milk tea, and water), great room big, cool enough, great bathroom, and the best of all is pretty close to tooth temple and the big budha. This place is a MUST."
"A heritage property with charm. Lovely gardens, infinity pool and common areas. Staff are friendly and do all to help.
The location is elevated and a quick tuk into town or walk.
As travelling solo I booked a double room and not on the larger. Whilst they are clean and comfortable with all you need I would suggest book a larger room if you can as there was no natural light in the rooms as there were shutters that were covered. It was ok as I sat in common areas to read etc. Just a heads up....
