"Great hotel reasonably priced that includes a very tasty breakfast. The room was comfortable and big enough to not feel claustrophobic. The front desk was very nice and plenty of free parking. Only complaint was no way to charge phone by the bed. Had to plug in at table which means every time I wanted to check the time I had to get up and walk across room"

"Overall it's good for a night or two at best. Upon check-in I noticed a broken towel hook, a couple stains on the couch, a child's toy and lots of dirt under the couch, and there was no trashcan. I let the virtual front desk know about the towel hook and requested a trashcan both through text and a phone call. They said they would make a note of the hook and have someone bring a trashcan. "Hotel was clean and the room was well sized for a family of four. The hotel is not far from city center, about a 30 minute walk. The area is well served by buses and I would recommend getting a City Pass for buses and museums. The front desk staff lacks some customer service prowess - told us we needed to pay for breakfast that we had already paid for and told us to use Google when we were asking for tips on transportation."

"This is a very clean hotel. The breakfast was very good. There was a self check in process which I didn't realize ahead of time and wasn't informed of before I got there. I am actually not sure how I was supposed to get the code but I ended up ringing the bell in the small lobby to get someone to respond. There is also no airport shuttle other than one you can book yourself from a 3rd party. It does stop at the hotel but other than that the hotel doesn't have anything to do with it."

"Staff great, food was great, location was easy enough to navigate, but I wasnt expecting a taxi into the city 10 minutes away would cost $30. I loved the amenities, I really just wish they were open longer especially the spa. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. This is my first time in Iceland so I don't have a comparison. I would appreciate more items in the snack area such as souvenirs, a better selection of alcohol, and a microwave. Yes I wish the rooms had a microwave."

"We visited on a sunny, mostly dry week. Clean, comfortable room, wide/great breakfast choice, our package included access to hot baths and sauna, which were nice. Our rooms overlooked back, and also had glimpse of the sea. Fitness room had dumbells, bike, treadmill. Location, it is on the old harbour side of city, so allow more walking time to visit other sides of the centre. Overall had an excellent experience."
